Ron Scott
General Information
Councilman Ron Scott has represented District 5 since October 2004. Originally from Decatur, Georgia, he is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Political Science. Councilman Scott and his wife Linda (who is a talented local artist) moved to Daphne from Chattanooga, Tennessee in 2003, and they have operated Scott and Associates (promotional products distributors) since 1994. Councilman Scott spent eight years as a member of the Daphne Utility Board and has been chairman of various council committees. He currently is the Council representative on the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and the Daphne Planning Commission. Councilman Scott is proud of the financial improvement Daphne has made over the last 12 years.
