Phil Vandiver
General Information
First elected in November 2012, Commissioner Vandiver is serving his third term as District 4 Commissioner. Phil’s family has a long tradition of farming in Madison.
Vandiver graduated from Sparkman High School and attended Auburn University. He returned to farming and for almost 30 years as an agri-businessman, has raised cattle and grown and harvested cotton, soybeans, and corn while also actively participating in many agricultural organizations.
He and his wife, Becky, have worked together in their children’s schools, the Monrovia community and their church. Son Keith is a graduate of Auburn University, while their daughter Tori attends Auburn University. The Vandiver's have long valued their family, education, hard work, and their church.
