Patrick Johnson

Patrick is a lifelong resident of Morgan County, being raised on his family’s farm in Danville, before moving to Decatur where he has raised his family. Patrick graduated from Lawrence County High School where he was a multi-sport athlete playing basketball, cross country, track and tennis with numerous state championships during his career. Patrick graduated from the University of North Alabama where he met his wife Vanessa, and their two daughters currently attend. Now a small business owner, Patrick and his wife both maintain businesses in the area including his local insurance office. Patrick is a dedicated husband, proud father, successful business owner, and tireless advocate for his community.

Patrick is running for Alabama’s District 4 State Representative seat because he strongly believes our region needs a champion and advocate to fight for them in Montgomery. After years of regularly attending meetings on workforce development, economic development, infrastructure, business and residential growth, and education-based agendas, he saw the need for strong leadership and action.

One of Patrick’s priorities has always been serving his community. Some of the groups Patrick has worked with include serving as the former President of the Decatur Kiwanis Club, multiple leadership positions within the Decatur-Morgan Chamber of Commerce, former President of the Morgan County local UNA alumni association, and an honored recipient of the 2017 Community Service Award by the UNA Alumni Association. Patrick has a proven record of serving his community and working tirelessly to improve the area. His passion for the people of District 4 coupled with his business experience and work ethic will make him the strong voice that the people deserve in their representative.

With Patrick, the people of District 4 can expect an experienced professional that has faced many of the same challenges as a parent, son, and business owner that we all have. Patrick is a leader with integrity, who truly listens to his community and will bring their voice back to Montgomery.
