Angie Phillips
General Information
Angie Phillips represents District 7. She has been a resident of Daphne since 2005. She was born and raised in Mobile, worked her way through college and earned a BS in Secondary Education from the University of South Alabama. After college, Phillips continued employment as an office manager and eventually opened a home-based accounting business. She worked in this capacity while raising her children and volunteering in schools and the community. In 2013, Phillips was hired as the City of Daphne’s revenue officer, a position that provided her insight into city government. Ultimately, she went to work for Spanish Fort High School, where she taught for several years and presently serves as curriculum leader.
She has been married to Paul Phillips since 1993, and they have two children, Meredith and Brady. Phillips is honored to have been twice appointed to the District 7 seat and to now serve as an elected member of the council.
