Title
Tuscaloosa Co., 6th Judicial Circuit, additional district judge, conditioned on funding for compensation and benefits by county commission, election
Description
This bill would create an additional district judgeship, designated District Judgeship Number 3, in the Sixth Judicial Circuit comprised of Tuscaloosa County. This bill would make the additional district judgeship conditional upon the adoption of a resolution by the county commission to provide the necessary funding for compensation and benefits for the judge and an employee for the first 24 months. This bill would provide for the election of the judge at the 2022 general election
To provide for an additional district judgeship in the Sixth Judicial Circuit comprised of Tuscaloosa County; and to provide for the election of the judge under certain conditions.
