Description
This bill would authorize the holder of a net and seine permit from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources to designate one person who would be eligible to purchase a captain's license which would authorize the licensee to operate the vessel without the permittee being present on the vessel
To add Section 9-12-113.2 to the Code of Alabama 1975, relating to certain commercial fishing permits issued by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources; to authorize the holder of a permit to designate one person who could be issued a captain's license to operate the vessel when the holder of the permit is not present on the vessel.
