Under existing law, each waterfowl season a person must purchase an annual stamp from the judge of probate or another agent authorized by the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources in order to hunt waterfowl. There is no provision in current law for the issuance of a lifetime waterfowl stamp

This bill would provide for the department to issue a lifetime waterfowl stamp and establishes the fees for a lifetime stamp. The bill would also authorize cost-of-living adjustments for the lifetime fees

To amend Section 9-11-433, Code of Alabama 1975, as amended by Act 2016-384, 2016 Regular Session, relating to issuance of annual stamps for waterfowl hunting; to provide for the issuance of lifetime waterfowl stamps and to establish fees; and to authorize for adjustment of the fees.
