Bill Summary
Currently, the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, provides that no person may be elected or appointed to a judicial office after reaching the age of 70 years
This bill would propose a local amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, relating to Autauga County, to provide that a person who is not over the age of 74 when qualifying for election and a person who is not over the age of 74 at the time of appointment may be elected or appointed to the office of Judge of Probate of Autauga County
To propose an amendment to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, relating to Autauga County, to provide further for the maximum age of a person qualifying for election or appointment to the office of Judge of Probate of Autauga County.
