Bill Summary
Under existing law, six members of the Board of Trustees of the University of North Alabama are required to be appointed from the seventh and eighth congressional districts, two of whom are required to be residents of the county in which the university is located
This bill would change the reference to the seventh and eighth congressional districts to a reference to the fifth congressional district to correctly reflect the congressional district in which the university is located
To amend Section 16-51-3, Code of Alabama 1975, as amended by Act 2015-210, 2015 Regular Session, relating to the Board of Trustees of the University of North Alabama; to change the reference to the seventh and eighth congressional districts to a reference to the fifth congressional district to correctly reflect the congressional district in which the university is located.
