Elections, secretary of state to provide free computerized statewide voter registration list to other state chief election officials upon request Sec. 17-4-38 am'd.
Description
Under existing law, the computerized statewide voter registration list compiled by the Secretary of State is provided free of charge to legislators and the Administrative Office of Courts
This bill would provide for the free dissemination of the computerized statewide voter registration list to the chief election official of other states, upon request
To amend Section 17-4-38, Code of Alabama 1975, relating to the dissemination of the computerized statewide voter registration list by the office of the Secretary of State; to provide for the free dissemination of the list to the chief election official of other states, upon request.
