Bill Summary
Under existing law, beginning with the fiscal year ending September 30, 2013, and each fiscal year thereafter, $800,000 is directed to be appropriated from the State General Fund to the Agricultural Center Board. The appropriation is to continue until 2042 as long as there is a $30 million renovation agreement between the board and a board of a public corporation for the renovation of Garrett Coliseum and the Alabama Agricultural Center
This bill would provide that the appropriation would begin with the fiscal year ending September 30, 2015
To amend Section 2-6-12, Code of Alabama 1975, providing for a continuing annual appropriation under certain conditions to the Agricultural Center Board for the purpose of renovating Garrett Coliseum, to delay the beginning fiscal year of the appropriations.
