Bill Summary
Under existing law, a family resource center which meets certain standards and is certified as a member of the Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers may receive a portion of funds appropriated from the state to the network
This bill would require that the Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers adopt rules governing the allocation and distribution of federal and state funds to the family resource centers. The bill would also require a notice concerning any proposed rules to be published in the Alabama Administrative Monthly prior to consideration of the proposed rules
To amend Section 30-8-2 of the Code of Alabama 1975, relating to the certification and funding of family resource centers by the Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers, to require the network to adopt rules governing the allocation and distribution of federal and state funds to the centers; and to provide for notice of the proposed rules to be published in the Alabama Administrative Monthly.
