Description
Under existing law, a board of registrars is prohibited from registering any person as a qualified elector within the 10-day time period before an election
This bill would extend the prohibition time period from 10 to 14 days
To amend Section 17-3-50, Code of Alabama 1975, to extend the time period during which a board of registrars is prohibited from registering any person as a qualified elector from 10 to 14 days before an election.
