Bill Summary
Under existing law, the Commission on Higher Education administers certain scholarships for chiropractic education at out-of-state colleges or universities offering chiropractic education not available in this state
This bill would authorize the commission to use a portion of the funds available for chiropractic scholarships for advanced education in health-related courses at colleges or universities within this state
To amend Section 16-5-11, Code of Alabama 1975, relating to the Commission on Higher Education and the function of the commission relating to the administration of certain funds for students at colleges and universities under certain conditions; to authorize the commission to use a portion of funds available for chiropractic scholarships at colleges and universities within this state.
