Ruth Page-Nelson
General Information
I am no politician, just a citizen who is tired of things the way they are. I was born to two parents who left Alabama for a better life. I was born in Molino, FL, a rural town outside of Pensacola, FL, in 1962. I am the mother of two biological sons and one stepson. The youngest is 29 years old.
DOB 02/20/1962, Molino, Florida. Ruth spent her first years off-grid and avidly supports solar power and autonomous existence. She is a master electrician who decided to build a green jobs training center in Dothan, AL, and when the building was burned (on schedule), she was forced into activism to address the injustices in her town, now Dothan, AL.
The creation of a website dedicated to the community's concerns, Dothanforjusticenow.com, was an offspring of her local efforts when they became so overwhelmingly concerned about public corruption, policing, racial injustice, and environmental justice that she knew she must help the people. This was Ruth's foray into politics, just wanting to help. After she ran for Mayor in 2017, she ran for US Senate in 2019 and now is the Libertarian candidate for Lt. Governor.
