A new poll released on Thursday by Club for Growth Action, a super PAC associated with the conservative Club for Growth found that former Attorney General Jeff Sessions is still the front-runner to take on Democratic incumbent Doug Jones in November. The poll found that 34% of likely Republican primary voters support Sessions followed by 29% who support former Auburn football coach Tommy Tuberville and 17% who support Congressman Bradley Byrne.
WPA Intelligence, the organization that performed the polling on behalf of Club for Growth Action released a memo that stated, “If the election were held today, Jeff Sessions and Tommy Tuberville would advance to a run-off.”
