Montgomery Mayor Election: Steven Reed, David Woods Head To Runoff Race

Steven Reed and David Woods will head into a runoff to be the next mayor of Montgomery as no candidate received the required 50 percent of the vote to avoid a runoff.
The runoff between Reed and Wood will take place Oct. 8. The winner will be sworn in as mayor Nov. 12 at Montgomery City Hall.
As of the time of writing, Reed had received 43 percent of the vote with Woods receiving 23 percent with 46 of 48 precients reporting.
